Bessa sought out Paper Robot for a complete rebranding and new company website in preparation for expansion and a possible change of ownership. The industrial hygiene services firm was previously branded with the owner’s full name and an outdated logo.

Strategic Advice

Paper Robot recommended simplifying the business name to Bessa, the owner’s last name. This change allowed us to position the brand for the future while honoring the owner’s legacy, and meant the company wouldn’t lose its name equity and strong reputation built up over 30+ years. We also recommended adding the tagline “Workplace Health and Safety” to better communicate the company’s services in a clear and succinct way.

Meaningful Branding and Messaging

Paper Robot’s creative director then focused on branding and identity work, ultimately landing on badge iconography for the logo. It represents a seal of approval and quality—values that Bessa embodies. Simultaneously, our copywriter took a deep dive into the client’s offerings. We distilled large amounts of information, translating the highly technical into copy that potential customers immediately understand.

Hard Working Web Design

We also designed and built out a robust website that’s brimming with information yet easy to navigate and understand. Because Bessa works with a lot of proprietary machinery, a large part of our post-design site work involved selecting high-quality, on-brand stock images to help tell the company’s story.
