Dennis is multimedia artist and educator whose work involves building layers of old and new experiences to form new narratives and connections. Paper Robot began working with Dennis on a public art commission, and has continued to partner with him on additional marketing and public art projects.

Technical Design Expertise and Collaborative Art Direction
Art at Amtrak brings the work of accomplished East Coast artists out of the gallery and into the public eye. For his exhibition, Dennis needed assistance converting his 3D multi-material art into 2D print files that could precisely wrap around the surfaces of New York Penn Station. Paper Robot’s timeline was extremely condensed, as the project was already supposed to be at the printer.
Our creative director began collaborating with Dennis, starting things off with several conversations about his vision for the project and the meaning behind his works. We provided art direction and technical expertise, helping curate and layer digitized elements of his artworks to create a cohesive installation that remained true to the spirit of the originals. This process also involved vectorizing Dennis’ artwork and taking great care with the final design files to ensure seamless matches when the artwork was wrapped.

Ultra-Personalized Web Presence
Dennis enjoyed collaborating with Paper Robot, and asked us to create a new website for him. As with Art at Amtrak, Paper Robot’s mission was to capture Dennis’ vision and add some structure, all without losing the unique elements that Dennis brings to everything he does.
Dennis’ goals were to showcase his art and to create a professional platform that would allow him to reach a larger audience in order to garner more speaking and interactive program engagements. Our creative director architected and designed a site that would deliver on these goals, and our copywriter ensured that his offerings were conveyed in a manner that appealed to corporate and institutional audiences but didn’t lose touch with Dennis’ personality and artistic vision.
